Here in the confines of the Member Zone the individual members of the agnostic A.A. groups of New York City are allowed to briefly place personalities before principles. Here members may share their personal stories, suggest books that aren't approved by Alcoholics Anonymous World Services, Inc., explore other recovery programs, and even question the prevailing orthodoxy of recovery.
Opinions expressed here the authors' own, and do not necessary reflect the views of other members of the groups.
The Tuesday evening Sober Agnostics meeting features a variety of formats: speakers, topics, and readings from the literature on alcoholism and sobriety. Some of the group's members prepare topics well worth preserving beyond the meeting in which they're presented.
